Business Terms and Conditions
These are my standard terms of business, whereby in any case, that no other terms have been agreed or that any other expectations or other terms have been asserted by either party. Other terms may apply where we have made agreements or I have created other expectations, in which case, they shall supersede any terms which are detailed in the standard terms (on this page). Such additional terms are the result of the conversations we have either in person or virtually, or by exchange of emails.

I do my best to keep terms and conditions short, simple and in plain English.
About My Guarantee?
I guarantee that by the end of the third month, you will have an ROI relative to my fees for the entire year. For example, if my fees for the year are £12, then by the end of the third month my fee is paid for, for the entire year. So even though you will have received £3 worth of coaching, I guarantee that you will have a minimum of £12. So a 4x ROI on my fee.
If for any reason we have not achieved this result and you have completed all the tasks you agree to get done and on-time, then I will work with you for no further cost until you do.
Where the fee for the year has been paid for up-front, I will pay you the equivalent of one months worth of fees, per month until you do get the promised ROI.
If I don’t think I can help you, I won’t risk wasting your time or putting myself in this position. So if I agree to work with you, you’ll know that I am confident that we will have a coaching relationship that will generate excellent results.
I have so far never been in a position where a business owner has even had to ask me about this, we have always hit our targets.
Alternative Variations To The Guarantee
It may not be the case that your goal is related to additional revenue, gross profit or net profit, or growth in any way. It may be that you have another goal entirely.
For example, you may be happy with where the business is at, but you are a fundamental part of your company and it can’t survive for more than a week without you. Perhaps you need me to help you to ‘get out of the business’ and prepare your company for a sale. In which case, the above guarantee may not be relevant to you.
As a result, we will have a variation guarantee that is agreed between ourselves before you pay for your coaching journey.
All telephone calls, Zoom meetings, Google Meets and Teams meetings are recorded with a video recording and we also use an AI notetaker (called Fireflies.ai), which you will have access to, so that for any reason you wish to refer back to agreements made, you can do this via the text transcript or the actual video recordings.
Special Modified Agreement: Business Sale Goal
- 60% Discount when you pay for the first 12 months up-front, with a lump sum payment equal to 15% of the increased value of the business compared to the original valuation. This occurs upon achieving a sale of your business. For example, if you’re business is valued at £1,000,000 at the start of our work together and you later achieve a sale of £1,4000,000 up to 6 months after our work is complete, or at any time before this date. Then a fee of £60,000 will be due. For tax efficiency, this will be billed to the company.
- The contract is made with your business and not the owner. However, the owner will personally guarantee the additional payment in case of any event where the new business owners do not pay for any reason. I feel this is fair as it is the business owners that benefit from the sale of the company that of course benefit from the increased value of the company as a result of the work we will do together.
- In the unlikely event that the business is not sold, the fee payable will be based on the difference in valuation.
- Business valuations will be carried out by an independent and impartial valuer.
Limitation of Liability
This is a permanent term and no other terms shall supersede or replace this term.
Limitation of liability does not exceed the sum of the fees paid to Richard Moore Business Coach LTD. You agree not to hold the Owners, Directors or Officers of Richard Moore Business Coach Limited liable for any amount, in any case.
